Marcus Rashford left jaws dropping and Manchester United fans purring after producing one of the best assists of the year against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
The United forward made a clever run into the channel and sharply turned his man to check infield before quickly shifting the ball from left to right to create some space to cross for Paul Pogba to open the scoring.
The Frenchman may have got the defining touch but even he was quick to acknowledge who had made this goal by immediately pointing at Rashford after tapping in from close range.
Former players Ian Wright and Gary Lineker were also quick to complement the youngster for his audacity to pull off such a trick and then supply an end product.
Lineker highlighted the fact that Rashford may not have had the confidence to attempt to take on two players if Jose Mourinho was still at the helm.
